Philippine Veterans Bank's branch expansion program remained evident in the first half of 2010 with the continued inauguration of newly-opened and newly-relocated branches all over the country.
Under its "10 in 2010" branch expansion program, a total of three branches have been inaugurated so far, namely PVB Santiago (Santiago, Isabela), PVB Pagadian (Pagadian, Zamboanga), and PVB Koronadal (Koronadal, South Cotobato). Seven more branches are scheduled to be inaugurated within the year including PVB's branches in Pasay City in Metro Manila; Malolos and Olongapo in Northern Luzon, Lipa and San Pablo in Southern Luzon; and Kalibo and Tagbilaran in the Visayas.
The bank also rationalized three of its branches, relocating them to better locations to be able to meet its clientele's needs. PVB Paseo de Roxas was relocated to an ideal location in Las Piņas City, right beside the City Hall. The bank's Mandaluyong branch was moved to a strategic location along Timog Avenue to be able to cater to nearby government offices, commercial establishments, and media establishments. On the other hand, PVB's Cebu branch moved from Cebu Doctors to its own building also along Osmeņa Boulevard.
Other branches that were opened last year but only got inaugurated this year included PVB Cabanatuan, PVB Tarlac, and PVB Lucena.
The bank hopes to be able to open more sites in key locations in the country to be able to service the needs of our World War II veterans better and to reach more markets for its products and services.

President and CEO Ricardo A Balbido Jr., with special guests, lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the inauguration of PVB Cabanatuan.
