Veterans Bank Celebrates 17 Years

Philippine Veterans Bank celebrated its 17th anniversary last August 7 by recognizing the dedication of 112 employees and honoring the loyalty and stalwartness of three retirees.

Held at the PVB Head Office Main Lobby, the simple yet significant celebrations awarded loyal employees for their years of service with the bank. Of the 112 loyalty awardees this year, 37 were recognized for five years, 54 for ten years, and 21 employees received recognition for 15 years of unwavering service to PVB.

Three retiring employees were also commended for their utmost service to PVB. Honored were David Calces who retired last April 1 after 16 years with the bank, Philip “Lolo” Dolor who left PVB after 15 years effective last May 1, and the ever-popular Romeo “Omek” Toniza who will end his tour of duty with PVB in December and will have by then effectively rendered 16 years, 10 months and 27 days of his life to the bank.

Chairman Emmanuel de Ocampo and President and CEO Ricardo Balbido Jr., together with several of the bank’s directors and senior officers, were on hand to celebrate the occasion with enthusiastic and energetic PVB employees.
