Antipolo City Government Avails of PVB's Cash Management Services

ANTIPOLO CITY - Aiming to improve the performance of its internal processes and systems, the City Government of Antipolo has recently signed a memorandum of agreement with Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB) to avail of several of the bank's cash management solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement signed by both parties, the cash management services that will be provided by PVB to the city government include the installation of a VeteranTeller ATM at the city hall premises, deposit pick-up services, and the management of payroll service.

The installation of an offsite VeteranTeller ATM will be a boon to employees and visitors alike as this will provide them easy access to cash. Since the bank will also be servicing employee payroll, this will allow them to withdraw their salaries straight from PVB and thus avoid withdrawal charges.

The agreement also calls for PVB to setup and install ten (10) biometric systems which will be used to monitor the attendance of all city government employees. Each employee will be issued the unique All-in-One ATM / ID which functions as a company ID, timekeeping card, ATM card, and debit card. The bank will also be setting-up its proprietary payroll system software which will work in conjunction with the biometrics and automate the processing of payroll of all employees of the Antipolo LGU.

On the other hand, the deposit pick-up service to be provided by PVB will provide the City Government with much convenience and safety. No longer will it face the risk of transferring actual funds by itself as this chore will now be done by PVB with regular pick-up of cash assets from the City Hall via armored van.

With these services soon to be up and running, the City Government expects that the added convenience will, in turn, result in the improvement of its own delivery of services to the citizens of Antipolo City.
